Senior Reporting Analyst

Summary

The Senior Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing an understanding of current business intelligence software and offering additional suggestions as needed. Primary responsibility will include the monitoring of all reporting software to look for underlying trends and patterns along with maintaining software viability. This position will focus on analyzing additional data points to find solutions to business problems as well as prioritizing requests for reports according to business needs, gathering stakeholder feedback and ensuring product delivery. The Senior Reporting Analyst will also work closely with strategic operations on templates for integration to our proprietary tool, MyConnect. 

Essential Duties and Functions

  • Conduct in depth data analysis with the intention of finding trends from said data for business-making decisions
  • Oversee and/or perform all data and reporting processes such as importing, cleaning, transforming, validating, or modeling
  • Lead report request process prioritizes requests, gathers stakeholder feedback and tracks project to completion
  • Retrieve actionable data via business intelligence tools, analytic tools, internal proprietary software, and other sources such as SQL databases, Salesforce, and Workday
  • Participate in month-end data processing/collection and distribution
  • Write queries
  • Provide sales team with Salesforce support
  • Assist in developing/maintaining HotDocs templates
  • Be sensitive to confidential matters
  • Write/monitor T-SQL queries to provide ad-hoc data request reports
  • Create and update reports in SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft Excel
  • Conduct data testing and provide results as needed
  • Provide CRM application administration and assistance
  • Deliver superior customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic IT Skills (database, MS Office, etc.)
  • Knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, etc. (as used in RDBMS)
  • 1 year experience in PowerBI
  • 1-3 years of experience with T-SQL
  • At least 1 year of SSRS experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge (ability to both read advanced formulas and write them)
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills
  • Stellar attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with HotDocs (or similar program) 
  • Basic general programming knowledge
  • High degree of professionalism and personal presence
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Knowledge of RDBMS
