CMS Provides Correction in Section 111 NGHP User Guide Version 8.1

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently published an update to their Non-Group Health Plan (NGHP) Section 111 Reporting User Guide. Version 8.1 contains a correction in Chapter IV: Technical Information.

An error was made in version 8.0 that has been corrected in version 8.1. CMS has added a clarification in Section 6.4 of Chapter IV that states the reporting threshold does apply to non-trauma, no-fault, and worker’s compensation cases.

No other changes or updates were included in version 8.1 of the NGHP Section 111 Reporting User Guide.
